Indoor Early Bird Tournament

The second annual “ SGSA Indoor Early Bird Tournament ” is coming ! The tournament will be held on November 3, 4, 5 & 6, 2011 on the indoor fields at the Trans Alta Tri Leisure Center in Spruce Grove, Alberta. The tournament is open to Tier I, II, III, IV & Community boys and girls teams from U10 to U18.

This tournament is an excellent opportunity for teams to get extra games early in the indoor season which will help develop strong team play for the rest of the season. Teams are guaranteed four games with gold, silver & bronze medals being awarded in divisions with four or more teams and gold & silver medals being awarded in divisions with three teams.

A maximum number of 40 teams can be accepted into the tournament so get your registration in early. REGISTRATION, ALONG WITH THE TOURNAMENT FEE OF $500.00, MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2011. However, with limited space, the earlier your registration is in the better your chances of getting in. See below for tournament forms.

As well as the soccer fields, the TransAlta Tri Leisure Center is a full service recreational complex with swimming pools, ice rinks, a gym, a walking track and a fitness center. There is a family sports restaurant as well as a concession. There will also be a soccer store set up in the lobby by the west end of the fields where anything soccer related will be available for purchase.
