History
Spruce Grove Soccer was established in 1977. Formed as a society and registered in Alberta in 1981. The objectives as stated in the By-Laws upon formation was to foster the development of the game of Association Football (sometimes called Soccer), in the Town of Spruce Grove. Changes have occured since inception, the game is now aways called soccer, the town is now a City, however the objectives have not changed
Soccer in Spruce Grove has grown from approximately 190 participants in 1981 to an enrollment of 1023 in 2008 summer outdoor season and an anticipated increase for the winter indoor program.
